I wanted to wish my brother, Mike, a very happy birthday today as he turns 40 years old! A family friend of mine just told me that 40 is older than dirt! So I will have to ask Mike what it feels like to be that old!
Actually I would like to give my brother a 40 cup salute...with 40 glasses of milk!
I am a Dairyman's Daughter and proud of it! Not only that, my husband, Joe, and I own numerous Jerseys and Holsteins that are housed at my parent's farm (Diamond S Farm - Dave & Kathy Skiba) and other friend's farms. Together along with our five-year-old daughter, Sykora, we enjoy showing and marketing our cattle.
Having been raised on a registered Jersey farm in North Branch, MN, I developed a strong love and passion for agriculture. Using this passion, I have been able to educate consumers through various ways–Ask me about my experience as a 'Butterhead'!

Show Girl
Here is Sykora and Yanqui after getting 3rd Place in the open show at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair. Sykora loves working with the show string and being out in the ring leading, just like her mom and dad.
